Our 10 Step Plan To A Smooth-Move
Step 1
You will be allocated a project manager who will overview your requirements
in terms of timescales and needs.
Step 2
We will undertake a survey of your existing site and a complete audit
of your current IT infrastructure, facilities and systems as well
as document any deficiencies that may need to be corrected or improved
during your relocation.
Step 3
Your new site will then be surveyed and a requirement plan drawn
up to allow your move to take place with the least amount of disruption,
the lowest cost and downtime reduced as far as possible.
Step 4
Once the requirement plan has been completed and costed, the agreed
plan will be scheduled to comply with your time and business requirements.
Step 5
Your project manager will then assist in the arrangements of third
party services, these may include internet connections etc.
Step 6
Your new site will then be prepared for your move, laying cables,
providing infrastructure equipment and where necessary new IT components
as defined in the plan.
Step 7
In line with the backup policy, we will ensure that ALL critical
data and systems are backed up PRIOR TO the move.
Step 8
On the day of the move, our experienced engineers will assist
in the decommissioning and packing of your equipment ready for your
chosen removal company to move you to your new site. We will do
our best of course to ensure that the designated critical systems
are available until the last possible minute.
Step 9
Once the equipment has arrived at your new site, our engineers will
assist, in the unpacking and location of your equipment. Once located,
they will re-commission your systems. Of course, systems will be
re-commissioned according to the agreed plan so that essential and
critical services are resumed at the earliest opportunity.
Step 10
Finally once your equipment is in place the entire network will
be tested.
